Please note that Section Leader Test is coming, it will be on 3rd of June.

Everyone in the main band are expected to learn:
  1. B-flat major, E-flat major and F major scales (best if you memorise, or at least try and remember the sharps and flats.)
  2. A Prairie Portrait (it will be anywhere in the piece, so make sure you know the rhythms of the whole piece, the articulation: e.g. tone, blend, balance...)
It can be anybody taking the test, so you never know whether will it be you...
So, all the best for the test!


As for the holiday schedule, it will be posted tomorrow on the blog.
Parent's letter will be given on during band practice (Fri, 23 May).
